My condolences to Christina, Carlos and Manuel, and her sisters, Adriana, and Tiziana. I first met Elvia and her family in Grez-Sur-loing, (Hulay) France in 1960. They were my family for the next 2½ years. We all have songs that bring back those memories of the past. Elvia’s three favorites songs then by Edith Piaf were; Non, je regette rien,- No, I regret nothing, Mon dieu-My God, and Milord- My lord. I still have old Piaf records and have played them many times over the last 61 years. I remember she was also a fine cook.
In memory of Elvia I still have my wine and espresso.
May you rest in peace Elvia.
