I was saddened to hear of Emil's passing. Very nice service today. I remember Emil as always happy, always busy, always caring and sharing. And, an excellent wood carver - I have two of his pieces, one he gave to me and one he gave to Margaret in Las Vegas. You are lucky to have such a wonderful person in your family.
This cannot be easy during the current global state of affairs, but I hope Emil was happy and pain-free at the end.

Sharon and family --
I have so many wonderful memories of Emil. I spend A LOT of time in the Sabol's house (especially the kitchen) during junior high and high school and Emil always had a funny quip or joke for me ("Hey Jane, where's Tarzan?") and Sharon's other friends. Emil drove of us everywhere, even to a haunted house in downtown Milwaukee with lots of girls in the car (10? 11? 12?). He was such a wonderful husband to Betty and an amazing Dad to Deb and Sharon. He will be so missed. My deepest sympathy.
