












































































































Emily Ann Taylor was born on June 9, 1941, in Mississippi to the late Mr. Robert Taylor Sr. and Mrs. Annie Bell Davis. She was one of 11 children. She confessed her hope in Christ at early age.
Emily Ann was united in Holy Matrimony to her one and only soulmate, Clarence Jones in June of 1961 in Memphis, TN. Five children were born to this union.
On April 1, 1966, Emily and her family moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and she became a member of True Vine Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Lonzo Jude. In March of 1975, Emily became the first lady and mother of Greater St. Luke, where she remained an active, legendary 1st lady, Sunday School Teacher, Choir President, Bible Class Teacher, Vacation Bible School Teacher, and Founder of the Women United In Christ. She was a counselor, mentor, friend, mother, grandmother, aunt, and cousin to ALL! She was our EVERYTHING!
Emily Ann departed this life on Saturday, July 31, 2021. She leaves to mourn her passing; a wonderful devoted husband, Pastor Clarence Jones; 5 children: Michael (Sherry) Jones, Janice Jones, Marilyn (Edward) Tyson, Marvin (Carla) Jones, and Mulunda Jones, 6 siblings: Omelia Taylor, Robert Taylor, Gertrude Taylor, Paulette Taylor, Shirley (Tyrone) Williams, and Sandra (Lee) Cotton, 9 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, as well as a congregation FULL of children!
Servant of God, well done!
