Rick Armstrong left a message on November 20, 2019:
I was a student at West Allis Central in the 60's. While we did not have a golf team, Mr. Landgraf had a intramural tournament every year and he was a coach to all the young golfers. I have an award signed E.M. Landgraf, Athletic Director. What a fine man. My condolences. Rick Armstrong
Gene Haas left a message on November 10, 2019:
Gene Landgraf Family: I was unable to attend the service due to other circumstances, but my thoughts of Gene Landgraf remains vivid in my memory bank. Gene was an active and wonderful participating member of the Whitnall Park Men's Golf Club and we played together quite often. He not only was a good player but a wonderful person to play with. We enjoyed many conversations, since West Allis Central was often the topic of our conversation. I grew up only a few blocks from the original WAC location, watch football games every Friday nite at Central Stadium. But our discussions about the game of golf were most memorable. When i served as an officer of WPMGC Gene helped out numerous times...and I didn't even have to ask him...he just volunteered. Again, Gene Landgraf will be in my thoughts forever. Save a place on heaven's golf course....and I'll even give you one stroke per nine.
