Evangeline Constantine Krauss passed peacefully into eternal life on December 31, 2022 at the age of 98.
Born on August 16, 1924 to George and Magdalene Giannakopoulos. Evangeline “Angie” was proud to have been born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a baby, her family moved back to their homeland in Zaharo, Greece. She was the 2nd oldest of 9 children. In her 20’s she came back to America, married, and had 3 children. Angie was an active member of the church and the Daughters of Penelope. She was an eternal optimist with a strong faith. She had a great sense of humor, was an inspiration in the kitchen, and loved traversing life with her big fat Greek family and many close friends. Up until the very end of her life, Angie was often found singing, dancing and bringing joy to others. She was our greatest gift and will be dearly missed.
Devoted wife of the late Emanuel Constantine and the late Siegfried Krauss. Beloved mother of John (Linda) Constantine, George Constantine and Grace (Robert) Busse. Proud Yiayia of Christopher, Steven, Robert, Madelyn (Austin), Leah. Angie is preceded in death by her siblings Kalliope Makrikostas, Stephanos Giannakopoulos, Joanne Mastrandreas, Adam Gianos, Tasia Martin and Chris Ganos. She is survived by her sisters Christina Fahouris, and Canella Niederer.
A special thanks to the staff at Lasata Senior Living Center for caring for and loving Angie like family over the last four years.
