Flora “Lory” L. Stocks

Flora Lorlei “Lory” Stocks passed away on November 3, 2023.

Born in Cudahy, Wisconsin on March 21, 1939, she was a daughter of the late George Grouse and Flora (Wilson) Grouse. Flora enjoyed many years of entertaining people with her accordion music, as a solo artist. Gardening was her most enjoyed hobby, but her family was her passion.

After being diagnosed in 2015 with dementia, Flora was in 24-hour care, residing at Southpointe Care Facility until her departure. She is survived by her children; daughter Jayne Lynda Schwartz, daughter Susan LaVon (Kelly) Miller, son George James (Nancy) Lucas and son-in-law Dave Sandblom. Grandchildren; David Hoffman III, Joel Pikulik, Robert Schwartz, Stefany Schwartz, Danielle Kumm, Crystal Schultz, Grant Schultz, Richard Burbach, Josh Lucas, Gregory Lucas, Jed Miller, Dylan Miller.

She is proceeded in death by Husband #1: Dale Alan Lucas, to whom she was married 32 years, and Husband #2: William Stocks, who she was married to for 20+ years, as well as her Daughters Dawn Robin Sandblom and Lorraine Dale Stefhovsky, and her parents.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 10:00 AM – 11:45 AM, with Service at 12:00 PM at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin. Interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 10700 Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at 1:00 PM.
