Floyd devoted his life to the love and care of his family. He served four years in the U.S. Navy, taught business education for 30 years in Wisconsin high schools and 18 years of evening school at MATC West.
Floyd led a life of astounding love, kindness and generosity. He always left places and people better than he found them. If Mother Theresa was right that “One cannot do great things in this world, only small things with great love”, then Floyd excelled with his loving gestures of cards (homemade), dinners, drinks, milkshakes, candy (Snickers Bars), ice cream, notes, flowers, hugs, tips, phone calls (singing birthday), coffee delivery, donuts, rides, hotel Zwieg accommodations, charities, inspiring Facebook messages…always done with “Zwieg” quality!
He showed us what it means to age gracefully and he will be deeply missed and forever loved. He rejoices now with his beloved Valorie. Sail on Pops until we meet again. “To the Boats” forever. Most recently Pops was delighted and anticipating the birth of his great grandson.
We express our gratitude to St. Luke’s Neuro 2 ICU in Milwaukee for their excellent care and compassion they provided. Memorials appreciated to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.
