Grandpa, you were my best pal. The highlight of my day was always bringing Myah over to your house and watching your face light up once you saw her. She sure did love exploring your house! Life feels so empty without you. You will always live on in our hearts and I will miss you always

Ahhhh ! Fast Freight Frank has bumped his last car over the hump makin' up trains for the Milwaukee Road and worked the SooLine to retirement. He made grade in the Armored Division during the Korean Conflict and many a Honor Guard Ceremony , both Parade and Burial Duty. Til …."let the young bucks have a turn, I've done my duty ".....never one to shy away, always a skip in his step and a DuetcheLander's grin letting you know he knows the fireworks are about to begin. Yes …..I remember my Pap , always loved him no matter the season and reason it just was easy to be with him , his greatest gift was we were always even...though it all he said we were humans.....nothing more or nothing less....even a cripple he'd say puts his pants on one leg at a time......ahhh ! I hear the skeptics....even a cripple rolls them up and clips the off , one leg at a time. My advice to any & all.... stay safe.....stay sane....be logical.....wish you health always.....and find your own happiness ! thanks to all who knew my Pap and who post a story or comment.
