Age 91, of Wauwatosa, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at the Congregational Home in Brookfield. Age 91, of Wauwatosa, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at the Congregational Home in Brookfield. Fred was born August 21, 1916 in Argenta (North Little Rock) Arkansas to Gustave and Agatha (nee Rosenkranz) Wiegratz. Fred graduated from Boys Technical High School and attended UWM. He initially worked as a designer for the Milwaukee Railroad and then, for 46 years, he operated his own drafting business, Industrial Visioneering Company. He was a lifetime member of the Wauwatosa Retired Men's Club, and a former Boy Scout Leader and Order of the Arrow honoree. Fred served as a 1st Lieutenant in the Army Reserves from 1946-1952. Fred is survived by his dear wife of 69 years, Esther (nee Schneeberg); his devoted sons, Wyon (Mary Jo) of Neenah and Warren (Phyllis) of Elm Grove; grandchildren Nathan, Jonathan, David and Sara Wiegratz and his step-grandson James Welniak. He was preceded in death by his parents, twin sister Frieda, younger brother John and his three older sisters, Olga and Emma Wiegratz and Martha Wichmann. A Memorial Service will be held in the Congregational Home Chapel, 3150 North Lilly Road, Brookfield, at 10 AM on Saturday, May 24, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made in Fred's name to the Congregational Nursing Home.
