George Hershel Ray passed away Friday, May 6, 2022 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Donna Ray (Speck). Loving father of Shirley (Gerald) Smith, The late Darlene (Anthony) Witzmann and Deborah (Ken) Beckett. Proud grandpa of Andrea, Miranda, Christy, Chad, Craig and Jennifer. Great-Grandpa of Zachary Isaac, Tahlia, Hayden, Khloe, Penelope and Molly.

George was a proud U.S. Army Veteran. After serving in the military, he was owner of Ray’s Lawn and Tree Service.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, bird watching and being with his dog Sammy.

Funeral visitation to be held on Monday, May 16, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with service to follow. Interment at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
