George passed peacefully into Eternal Life in the comfort of his home at age 89. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Delores I. (nee Gardner), son Jeffrey, daughters Colette Pochert and Lori Harrison; brothers Miles Gordon and John Patrick, and sister Margaret. Survived and deeply missed by children Steven, James, Todd, and Susan; in-laws, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and many dear friends.

Born and raised in Huron, South Dakota, he served in the Army Air Corps during WWII, and afterwards earned an engineering degree from the University of Colorado. After moving to Wisconsin he worked initially for the City and then the County of Milwaukee transportation departments.

Services and interment will eventually be in his hometown of Huron, South Dakota.
