Geraldine “Gerry” A.  Zalewski 

(nee Nitkowski) Began her journey after life on Friday, January 22, 2021, at age 94. Thoughtful mom of Gail Zalewski (Bob Senn), Dale Zalewski, Shari (Gary) Januszewski, and Terry (Marilee) Zalewski. Special grandma of Patrick and Annie. Sister of Eunice (Harry) Stachowiak and loved by other family and many friends.

Preceded in death by her parents Tony and Lucy (nee Urbanowski), former husband Harry Zalewski, brother Ronnie Nitkowski and daughter-in-law Bette Zalewski.

As a lifelong resident of Franklin, WI, Gerry was Secretary to the Principal at Franklin High School where administrators, teachers, and students alike were her friends.

Her hobbies included ceramics, creating family treasures to remember. She spent endless hours quilting Christmas quilts for each of her children and more recently turned her artistry and eye for detail to card making; stickers, stamps, and of course handfuls of confetti.

A special thank you to the many friends she made in the school system and her friends at Sacred Heart at Monastery Lakes who made her feel instantly welcome.

Celebration of Life to be scheduled when it is safe to gather.
