Passed away surrounded by the love of her family, Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at the age of 91. Loving wife of the late Howard Dobbratz. Beloved mom and mother-in- law of Kathy Drexler (Bill), Sue Dobschuetz, Linda Knapp (Greg), DD Johnson (Dan), Mar Mueller (Luigi), Bette Moderski (Mark). Cherished grandmother of 11, treasured great-grandmother (GG) of 18, and caring great-great grandmother of three. Also survived by her sisters, Tudy Selwitschka, Mary Staerkel, Jeane Vincent (Bill), Nancy Veith and brothers Boots Staerkel (Shirley) and Phillip Staerkel (Donna) and her sister in law Anna Mae Dobbratz along with many other family and friends.

Geraldine enjoyed traveling, gardening and most of all spending time with family. Geraldine spent many years of service working as an R.N at the Milwaukee County Mental Health Complex.

Private Services were held. Private Internment at Highland Memorial Park.

I worked with Gerry many years ago at the Mental Health Complex on an inpatient unit. She was a very energetic, dedicated nurse. She had “spunk”! It was a joy to work along side her. She is in God’s embrace, now. Ninety one years of life, must be providing many beautiful memories. I know that I cherish the ones I have when I worked along side her. God bless.

Dear Dobbratz Fanily, We are so sorry for your loss. Your mother, grandmother, sister was a delightful interesting lady. Our most fun memory is from a cruise we were all on in 1994. She had so many fun things planned to make our time together so entertaining. We know you will all miss her dearly. Our heartfelt sympathy to all if you.
