Many thought of Glenn as the best of friends as I did also. I'll long remember our single-engine airplane flight from Racine, to and from Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada... head winds and all.

I met Glenn about 7 years ago. He was one of the most humble, soft spoken, caring and gracious men I have ever known. This demeanor belies his vast accomplishments in business and manufacturing. He was very concerned about others, always checking with them to determine that they and their family or friends were healthy and doing well. Glenn could converse with anyone whether it be about business, manufacturing, farming or deer hunting. He would listen intently to everyone and interject any knowledge or feeling when he could contribute to the discussion. Glenn was meticulous in everything he did. His collector cars were beautiful. His shoes always looked brand new (even when he was wearing his usual blue jeans). Working in his yard or his orchard were some of the things he enjoyed the most. Glenn loved to watch craftsmen work creating works of art from mundane materials. He was fascinated watching things go from everyday items to beautiful furniture. When asked, Glenn would readily join in the creative process and help with the difficult parts when help was needed. Glenn was one of the most wonderful, caring and genuine individuals you would want to have as a friend, relative or confidant. Very successful yet very normal in every way. Glenn will be greatly missed by many people, especially me.
