Gloria Jean Oatis did not have an easy life, yet it was a good one.

Her transition and passing were peaceful in the home that she loved.

She was surrounded by her daughters, grandchildren, other family members and friends who all love her.

She was love-bombed and embraced with prayers and singing until her departure.

We all know she loved traveling as much as she loved reading books.

We all remember her love, kindness, compassion; the life she lived, the love she gave, the good heart she possessed and the sense of humor she had.

She was always shining.

While her life was not always easy, it was a beautiful and inspiring one.

You are the big part of our lives and forever in our hearts. Have a fun journey and eternal time reading all the books you longed for and reuniting with loved ones in the spiritual realm.

Posting a photo of our visit together to the Baha'i Center in Nashville,TN several years ago. We shared a long history together from the time she took in my son Andre as one of her own when I had to send him and his brother home from our pioneer post in 1985.
