Cindy and I are very sad to see our wonderful friend gone. But we are also happy to have known him and share so many memories with Gordy and Kathy. We have been best friends for well over 40 years. Kathy and Cindy even went to school together. Gordy was a straight forward old school guy with a great sense of humor. We feel better knowing he must be in a good place and not in pain anymore. Hope to meet up with him in the next world. We shared many laughs and more than a few beverages together. And, I do believe it's Gordy's turn to buy. Rest in peace Gordy. You will be greatly missed.

Gordy was among the friendliest and best people I have ever known. I still remember Gordy dressed in a Santa suit at the Old Republic Christmas luncheons years ago. A truly memorable person that will be missed tremendously.

Oh Dear Gordy, I am so sorry. You will be missed dearly. You were certainly one of the good ones. Even Though I tried to give you my best bad jokes, you were a good sport about it. I am glad we were able to stay connected as our children grew older. I don't know what else to say my friend. Prayers to your family! Kindest Regards always my Friend, Erv, Trish and the Raasch Family

I got to meet Gordy at the Parkinson's class at the WAC. Regardless of how he was feeling, Gordy was upbeat, ready to try everything, and purposefully working toward keeping himself moving forward. He is an inspiration to keep a positive outlook and keep moving, regardless of how you are feeling. I will miss you.

Gordy was such a nice man. He worked at Old Republic Surety and I worked for Old Republic Risk and I would say hi when I seen him. He used to walk at lunch. When he was retiring he gave me some old family photos he had found. May he rest in peace and my thoughts and prayers are with his family.
