Dan Esposito Jr. left a message on October 30, 2022:
Dear Ratas family. My deepest condolences on the passing of Greg. He was a wonderful guy. As teenagers, he and Dean and I played a lot of golf together. I thank God for the many good times we had. We played Hartford CC and Curry park all summer long. We played Maxwelton Braes on family vacations in Door County. Our families were close. I can't tell you how sad it makes me now, to know that he has passed. May God bless you all. Dan Esposito Jr. and Debbie

Dear Ratas family, I want to express my condolences on the passing of your husband, father, and brother. I was surprised and saddened by the news. I was a friend of Greg’s throughout jr. high and high school and have many great memories. In the years since I was not an active friend but saw Greg on a number of occasions. The last at a Panera Bread near Brookfield. Each time I was amazed how easy the conversation was, being able to connect and pick-up where we had left off. As you know, Greg was like that, easy to talk with, funny, optimistic, and full of energy. I’m sorry for your loss, Dennis

Dear Anna, the boys and all extended family members who knew and loved the Ratas family. Our condolences go out to you during this heartbreaking time. We love recalling your wedding day (near Chicago) and then seeing your family last at Alex wedding near Madison a few years ago. May God comfort you now and fill the emptiness with His love and reminders of Greg’s love for life, you, and his family. His big smile is ever present and reminds of his mom Helen, his dad Tom, and his grandma Joan’s smile. Missing them all but know they are happy being reunited in eternity. God Bless you all. Love and prayers. Mary and Viktor Wilhelmy

Dear Ratas family, My sincere condolences on the passing of a long time friend, I played football with Greg in junior high and high school, one of my fondest memories was after a game we lost, I was sitting next to Greg in the locker room when the coach went into a rage breaking a clipboard, Greg looked at me and that was it, we both burst into uncontrollable laughter, we got called on that one... May your memories of Greg keep you smiling forever. Rest in peace my friend.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
