Yorde, Ida L. nee Siegesmund. Died peacefully on January 3, 2022, age 102. Dear mother of Donald Yorde, PhD (Linda). Sister of Kenneth Siegesmund, PhD (Patricia). Preceded in death by her husband, Elmer A. Yorde and sister, Ruth Duncan Koehn. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ida was known for her knitting skills and making doll clothes for over two generations. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles. She was a member of the Reserve Officers Association with her husband. As well as being a devoted wife and mother, she also was a beautician and participated in the building trades. She assisted her father and husband in the building of several cottages and houses.

 

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM. Time of sharing 2:00 PM.
