(Nee Thurner) Called Home to the Lord Saturday, May 13, 2017.  Age 86.  Preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Lulu (nee Rogge) Thurner and her brother Ralph Thurner.  Survived by her children, David L. (Lori) Hay and Susan P. (Thomas) Salamone.  Proud grandma of Luke Salamone and Mark Salamone.  Dear sister of Christine (Sunghyop) Paek and aunt of Shawn and Guillaume.  Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee Wisconsin, Monday, May 22, 2017, from 4:00 PM to 6:45 PM.  Funeral Service at 7:00 PM.   Private interment at Wisconsin Memorial Park.  Thank you to Luther Manor and Luther Manor Hospice for the tender care given to Irene.

Irene was a long time employee in the Safe Deposit Department at M & I Bank.  She attended Mount Carmel Lutheran Church.
