As a co-worker Jake was always helpful, kind and respectful. There wasn't anything he wouldn't do to help someone. He did enjoy teasing me whenever we were in the same golf foursome; that was part of his charm. I'll miss 'Chocolate Chip'.

We will always remember the great times during the annual golfing trips to Atlanta. Our sympathy to Jake’s family and friends. On behalf of Delores "Woody" Graham, and our entire Independence, Missouri Family, we're sending our heartfelt prayers, sympathy,and condolences.
So sorry that we're unable to attend the services, but our cherished memories will forever remain in our hearts reflecting on our visit a few weeks ago with "Jake".
As we were departing Milwaukee on July 29th , the "SMILE" that was on his face will remain in our thoughts.
Praying for "ALL" of us. R.I H. until we meet again.

Big Jake didn't say much, but he didn't have to. Nothing felt better than walking into the bleachers for a football game, or the up the stands for a bball, and hearing your dad say, "Hey, Jess!" and give me an interlocking handshake, maybe even pull me in for a one armed hug and ask when we were doing Scoreboard Clock. He was the coolest, and he made us feel that way, too.
What a great man, who left a great legacy with his own family.
