Found her peace on October 3, 2019, at age 60. Loving Mom of Brandon M. Warren and the proud Grandmother of Leah, Brayden, and Brandon, Jr. She was also loved by a host of family and friends.

Jackie was born on January 1, 1959, in Milwaukee to Nathalie Russell and the late Jack (Phyliss) Hawkins. She was the big sister of Dawn (Jerry) McGinnis, Michael Hawkins, Sharon (Brad Gburzynski) Kinney, Christine Viljevec, Roseanne (Gregory) Theoharis, Angela Hawkins, Jack M. (Hsuan Fan) Hawkins Jr., and Julie (Adam) Hawkins-Tyriver. She is further survived by nieces, nephews as well as other friends and relatives.

Jackie was a 1977 graduate of James Madison H.S. in Milwaukee. Jackie loved her career in law enforcement. At the age of 18, she began as a Police Aide with the Milwaukee Police Department, graduated from the Milwaukee Police Academy at age 21 and served faithfully for many years.

Through her many dangers, toils and snares Jackie never lost her trust in Jesus Christ.

The visitation will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 7001 West Brown Deer Road, on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, from 4:00 PM to 5:45 PM. Service of Death and Resurrection at 6:00 PM. Private burial at Graceland Cemetery.

I moved from Milwaukee many years ago and didn't realize Jackie had passed away. I just happened to look her up today and found her obituary. She attended classes my husband once taught on the Holocaust. She became a friend to both of us. He also passed away a long time ago and when I moved I lost contact with Jackie.
