Mass Of Christian Burial at Noon. Private entombment at St. Mary Cemetery at a later date.Jim proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He joined the Milwaukee Police Department in 1954. As a Sergeant, he was seriously wounded in the line of duty in 1967. He returned to the Force and retired as a Captain in 1985. After his retirement, he taught Police Science at MATC for 10 years. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed gardening, traveling and most of all his "Casa" in the Adams Friendship area. He was a Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #4580 and a charter member of the Milwaukee Police Officer Sportsman's Club.A sincere thank you to his cardiologists, Dr. Frank Cummins, Mike Sween and Dr. Peter Chapman and the hospice team at St. Camillus. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to St. Michael's Alumni Association or St. Camillus Hospice."You will be truly missed, but never forgotten and always loved. Enjoy your heavenly reward."
