Left to be with his Savior Jesus on Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Age 93. Beloved husband of the late Anita (nee Bretschneider), with whom he spent 64 years in a happy and blessed marriage. Jim is survived by his dearly beloved children, Pamela Ann Charas (Myron), Mark James Fuller, and Carol Lee Steinke, six grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by daughter, Kerry Ann Fuller, his parents, Julia and Hugh Fuller, and his dear brother Harold also preceded him in death.Jim was always an active member of his church. He was also a member of the Gideons. He served actively in the U.S. Navy from 1937 through 1945 as a chief petty officer. He continued in the Naval Reserve until 1950. He is a past member of MENSA. He was employed by the Wisconsin Electric Company for 39 years, working as the Electrical Superintendent at the Oak Creek Power Plant; as Electrical Supt. at the Point Beach Nuclear Plant during its construction years; was Operations Supt. in the Lakeshore Division; and was a licensed 1ST Class Stationary Engineer. As an employee of Ebasco Services, Inc. of New York, he was a Senior Engineer.Jim had many friends at Howard Village especially his dinner companions at table 5 – Jean, Mary Jane, Walt and his wife Marilyn. Jim regularly attended Lutheran worship services held at Howard Village that were led by Pastor John Maddox. Visitation at ST. JOHN'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 4850 South Lake Drive, Cudahy on Tuesday, November 22 from 10:00 AM"12:00 PM. Funeral Service at NOON. Committal at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Wednesday at 10:00 AM. Please meet in the green parking area. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church in Cudahy and to the Gideons International.
