At the age of 59 Jim passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at Ruth Hospice located on the north side of Milwaukee. "Jim" was born July 20, 1950, to Gerald & Agnes (Lauby) Sherman in the city of Milwaukee. Jim was a Milwaukee resident most of his life except for the few years that he served in the navy. Jim graduated from John Marshal High School. Jim enjoyed being a Packer's and Brewer's fan. Jim enjoyed water sports, hunting, Camping, baseball, flying kites, taking pictures and karaoke. Jim was an umpire and coached baseball for a few years. Jim was determined to take pictures of each of our states capitol buildings and visit each Hard Rock caf. Jim accomplished this first goal but for the second goal he ran out of time. Jim was known for being a good friend. Jim is survived by his sisters Mary (Eugene) Faust of Milwaukee, Jo Ann (Chuck) Toelle of Burlington WI and Kathy (Al) Fredman of La Jolla CA. Jim is further survived by one niece, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends. We would like to thank the Ruth Hospice's staff for the loving care that they provided for Jim.
