I'm so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort from your memories, as well as the comfort found in God’s word the bible. In the face of such tragedy, many wonder why God allows such suffering. In the bible, Romans 5:12 says, "That is why, just as through one man (Adam) sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned." How loving of God to promise what is found at Revelation 21:4 which says, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

My deepest sympathy to the family. Jim was a dear friend and I will never forget the kindness he showed me during a very difficult time in my life. He was a great mentor to many of us in the labor movement. I know he is smiling down from heaven and now is at peace.
Dan Bukiewicz left a message on September 28, 2016:
Jim led the Milwaukee Building Trades for over 20 years. His vision and dedication helped many individuals find careers in the trades. The many projects he helped make happen reshaped the image of Milwaukee. All those in the building trades are better off because of his efforts. Dan Bukiewicz President Milwaukee Building Trades
