James William McLeod

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 5, at age 90. Son of Emmett McLeod and Dorothy (Arndt) Nadeau. Father of Mike (Sherry), Dan (Dawn) and Tom (Donna) McLeod. Survived by Mary Ann McLeod, the mother of his children. Beloved grandfather of Nicholas (Kerry), Jenna (Matt) Pitton, Matthew (fiancé Anna), Kristin (Val) Boutrouche, Sarah, Diane, David, Ryan, Jeremy, and Natalie McLeod. Great-grandfather to Ella McLeod, Jacob McLeod and Lucas Pitton. Also loved by sisters-in-law Kathy and Betty Jo McLeod, nieces Christine Woldt and Andrea McLeod, nephews Timothy and Michael McLeod, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers David and Robert.

Jim was born on January 17, 1933 and lived most of his life in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After graduating from Don Bosco High School he trained as a journeyman baker at MATC. He worked hard at numerous delivery jobs including Omar Bakery, Jaeger Bakery, and Golden Guernsey dairy. After 20 years at the Briggs & Stratton factory he retired and moved to Oconomowoc in 1995. Jim was always an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing, swimming and riding his bike around the lake.

We will all miss his signature greeting “Hello!, hello!”

PRIVATE SERVICES will be held on Sunday, October 8th, 2023.
