Jane Steinhardt

Entered God’s loving arms in the early morning hours of October 4, 2018, at age 66. She was reunited with her late mother Marjorie Steinhardt and her husband Thomas Poppe. She was the incredible, loving and supportive mother of Maggie (John) Wetzel and Skylar Ruder (Michelle Chamberlin). Proud and doting “Mamie” of Aiden, Dominic and Heidi. Dear sister of Carol Steinhardt, Michael (Judy) Steinhardt, Mary Steinhardt, Nancy Steinhardt and David (Sharon) Steinhardt. She was also loved and will be missed by additional family and many friends.

Jane worked as an LPN nurse at Family Health Plan in Milwaukee for numerous years. She was an avid gardener that found joy in feeding and watching the birds that flocked to her feeders. She had an unconditional love for her family and she relished her time with them.

Gathering at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin will be on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 4:00 PM – 5:45 PM. Celebration of life at 6:00 PM.
