Jan, I will miss you! I will always remember how you and Tony slayed at our tamale contest. Love to you in heaven. I know you will watch over Tony and your kids and grandkids.
Roland and Joanne Couey left a message on May 18, 2020:
We are first cousins with Janet. One if our memories is her with our father/father-in-law Forrest Couey. They were kindred spirits in that they loved to tease each other, especially during reunions! Joanne especially remembers Janet's wholehearted laugh! Tony and family please take care and know that your are in our thoughts!
LindaDee Derrickson left a message on May 18, 2020:
Adios, Janet, as your spirit travels on without the burdensome confines of your physical body. May the memories of your life remain and comfort all who loved and cared for you. Blessed be, Linda (daughter of Ruth Couey, granddaughter of Hilda Halverson, niece of Rozanna Gerdman and first cousin of Janet)
Theresa Delgadillo left a message on May 18, 2020:
I remember Jan cooking up a very special Christmas Eve dinner for her young family -- shrimp and steak! -- that I think became their family tradition. She was an accomplished cook who made food with love. Jan was so very proud of each one of her children, and would beam when sharing any news of their lives. I remember, too, how enthusiastically she took up jogging and worked to maintain a healthy life as she grew older. Remembering a woman of many talents and mourning her passing. Que en paz descanse.

Janet and I worked in the same office at St. Luke's Hospital. I really enjoyed Janet's great sense of humor and she was a wonderful person to work with. May God bless Janet's family during this difficult time.

So sorry for your loss. I really enjoyed working with Janet in our office at St. Luke's. She was a great co-worker. So happy to have known her.
Jamie, Sarah, Sam, Logan and Dylan Delgadillo left a message on May 16, 2020:
My favorite memory of Jan was from the party after my high school graduation. Jan helped organize in some way. My parents were going through their divorce. It was a hard time. I can’t remember what she said, but something she said to me that day made me feel better in the moment and that has stuck with me all these years. We can’t be there in person given the current environment. Sending all our love to Tony, Jessica, Amanda, Raul, Corrina and Pablo. Jan was a such great, loving person and we will really miss her.
Karen Gonzales left a message on May 16, 2020:
