(Nee Pipes) Found peace on June 28, 2022, at the age of 63. Mother of Kristen (Andy) and Andy (Brianna). Adoring grandmother of Wyatt, Weston, and Farryn. Devoted daughter of Joseph and Rose (nee Koss) Pipes. Sister of Douglas (Catherine) Pipes. Aunt to Rebecca and Mackenzie Pipes. Also loved by relatives and friends.

Janet pursued her lifelong dream of becoming a nurse taking part time classes while also raising her two young children. She graduated with honors in 1998. She was a highly respected nurse for over 25 years with the bulk of her career at the University of Wisconsin-Madison hospital. Over her many years Jan practiced a wide range of disciplines including critical care, medical/ surgical, hospice, float pool, psychiatric and operations. She earned multiple honors for her exceptional clinical work and was recognized by her peers as an outstanding team member, preceptor and patient advocate.

Janet will be remembered as a kind-hearted helper.

Services to be held on Monday July 11 at St. Adalbert’s Cemetery, 3801 South 6th Street Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Guests will gather by the cemetery office at 10:45 AM and then proceed to the chapel for an 11:00 AM service and entombment. All are welcome to attend a memorial luncheon and visitation immediately following services at Emerald City Catering and Events, 3555 South 13th Street Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
