Jay D. Rajchel age 80 of Brown Deer passed away peacefully with family at his side on January 3, 2023 at home. He is the best friend and husband of Marilyn (nee Glander) of 57 years. Loving dad of Dan (Sarah Flynn) and Kim (Mark) Bellows. Proud grandpa of Taylor, Jake and Sydnie. He is the beloved son of the late Felix Rajchel and Florence (Edward) Turek.

Jay was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on November 7, 1942. After graduation from high school Jay worked at the Journal Sentinel as a payroll manager and met his wife Marilyn while working together. They spent 57 amazing years together as best friends raising their 2 children.

Jay retired after 39 years and in retirement enjoyed fishing, golf, wood working and especially watching his Wisconsin sports. His real satisfaction came in the form of his family though, where he loved spending time with his wife, children and mostly his grandchildren where he could be found attending their many activities. Jay always had a sense of humor and made those around him smile endlessly. His generous and selfless personality really will be missed. He is deeply loved by his family and they meant the world to him.

Marilyn, Dan and Kim: I was so sorry to learn of Jay’s passing today. He was one of my cousins I always looked forward to seeing. We had a lot of great times at his house with Aunt Florence and Uncle Eddie. We will keep your family in our prayers and May he rest in peace.
