Began her journey home, on Monday, June 12, 2023, age 96. Loving Mom of Jean (Robert) Wilker and Carol Mertins. Loving Grandma of James A. (Janneane) Sturino, Peter Wilker, Jeffrey (Mabel) Sturino, John (Ashley) Sturino, David Wilker (Sarah DuBord) and Sarah (Alex) Clark. Proud Great-Grandma of Anthony, Abby, Arlo, Alyce, McKayla, Emily, Jensen, Jarett, Tatem, Crosby, Jamie and Emilia. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Duermeier and her parents, William and Marie Buss.
Jean was a long-time member of Christ Church UCC.

Gathering will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin, on Saturday, June 24, 2023, 11:00 AM – 12:45 PM. Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM. Inurnment will be held at Arlington Park Cemetery, on Monday, June 26, 2023, at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Wounded Warriors or Habitat for Humanity.
