Dear Family, I worked with Jean at Jackie Robinson Middle School a few years ago. She was always full of life and loved and respected everyone who set foot in her library, students and adults alike. I had a few occasions to see her after we retired -- and it was always lots of fun to see her. She will be sorely missed. I send heartfelt condolences to the family.

Jean was a uniquely rare person and one of the most objectively gifted persons that I have ever known. She was fun, kind, giving, educated, interesting, and genuinely interested in others. Virtually everyone who knew her shared those observations. But the thing I will always remember, the one quality that comes to mind when I think about her, was that she was happy. Truly happy. And her happiness affected everyone who knew her and was evident in how close her family is/was. On behalf of everyone who had the good fortune to know you...we love you, Jean. May you rest in peace.
