Died peacefully on March 14, 2018, at age 92 surrounded by her family. Mother of Linda (John) Haase, Laura Brown, Nancy (Ken) Daevel, Vic (Jacki Shave) Passante and Theresa (Craig) Zodrow. She also leaves fourteen Grandchildren and twenty Great-Grandchildren whom she loved dearly. And sisters-in-law, Rose Ellen Steinmann and Yolanda (Tony) Corrao.
She was preceded in death by Roland Passante, her beloved husband of 71 years, her mother, LuLu (Art) Vetter, father, Harry (Fay) Dolphin, grandson, Kyle Obst, sisters, Betty (Allen) Campbell, Lorna (Tom) Shaffer, brother, Bernard (Vernella) Dolphin, sisters-in-law, Palmerina (Jerome) Milbeck, Marietta (John) D’Alessio, brothers-in-law, Elmer (Julia) Passante and Frederick Steinmann.
Jean was born in Bloomington, Wisconsin, raised in Milwaukee, lived for over fifty years in Brookfield, and ten years in New Berlin. She was a dedicated Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Aunt and Friend. Her family was most important to her. She was an exceptional baker and cook. Everyone was welcome in her home and around her table. She was a beautiful soul who lived her life with humility, kindness, grace, and love. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on Monday, March 19, from 4:00 PM – 6:45 PM. Vigil Service at 7:00 PM. Additional visitation at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 18255 West Capitol Drive, on Tuesday, March 20 at 9:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Committal to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
