I just learned of Jean's passing. I never knew Jean very well. I met her when Jim invited me to dinner at their house while I was serving as superintendent at the Watersmeet School. I had the greatest respect for Jim and found Jean to be just as loving and caring a person as was Jim. They were both exceedingly kind and helpful to me. May they both rest in peace.

We lived across the street from Jean and Jim on Ames Terrace. I will never forget her kindness when my grandmother died-she brought over a wonderful chicken casserole--it has since become a family favorite. Heaven has gained a wonderful woman.

We lost two dear friends, Jean and Jim. For over 50 years, Corinne and I were privileged to be a part of their warm, endearing friendship. We, along with our Sons Brad and Craig have many fond memories of swimming, water skiing on Moon Lake and the Eagle River Chain with Mike, John and Brian and gatherings with all the extended family.

I hold precious memories of visiting Land 'O Lakes and cherish getting to know Aunt Jean and Uncle Jim as people, not just relatives. Wish I could be there. Know you are in my prayers.

Jean was a member of our health/weight club up in Land O Lakes, WI. She was a bright light in our club, and always came with a smile and had great stories to tell of her kids, her teaching experiences and places she lived. They were very active in the community and dearly loved by all. We miss she and Jim up north, but they will never be forgotten.
