Jerald H. Reckner

Died peacefully surrounded by his family on Thanksgiving, November 27, 2008, at the age of 76. Loving husband of Sandy for 53 years. Proud father of Judith (Mike) McCaigue, Janet (Brett) Henning, David, and Mike. Grandpa of Jennifer (Jesse) Miller, Sean, and Matt McCaigue, and Bradd and Ashley Reckner. Great-grandpa of Alyssa and Hailey. Brother of Jim (Pat), Ken (Paulette), and Shirley (Jim) Paap. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Preceded in death by his son Steven, grandson Brian, and brother Bob. Visitation at the Funeral Home Friday, December 5, 4:00-7:30 PM with Prayer Service at 7:45PM. Additional visitation at ST. PETER IMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 7801 West Acacia, Saturday, December 6, at 10:00AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:00AM. Interment at Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials appeciated to the church or the charity of your choice. Jerry served in the United States Army in the Korean War. Former Milwaukee Police Officer. Founder of MJ Marketing and Associated Speakers. An active member of the VFW, Rotary Club, and St. Peter Immanuel Lutheran Church.
