Passed into Eternal Life on Monday, January 2, 2017.  Age 77.  Preceded in death by his parents, Claire and Helen; brothers, Richard and Jack; mother-in-law, Ruth Muehlenberg; brother-in-law, James Muehlenberg.  Survived by his wife, Lorelei.  Loving dad of Chris (Al) Wedemayer, Sandy (the late Ted) Koman, Jerry II (Marge), Daniel and David.  Proud grandpa of Gina (Derek) Berger, Jenny (Mike) Nakielski, J.P. III (Amy), Mark (Andrea), Craig, James (Carly) Lewandowski, Matthew Lewandowski, Ashley Hempe, Daniel II, Kaylynn Hempe, Dustin Reindl, Tala Hempe and Kelly (Terry) Schuelke.  Great-grandpa of Jocelyn, Michael, Devin, Drew, Eric, Xavier, Mario, Kylie, Paige, Jasper, Serenity, Nathan and Michael.  Dear brother of Ellen (David) Schmidt and Clair (Anita) Hempe.  Brother-in-law of Sharon (Ron) Dahl and Cheryl Hempe.  Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Monday, January 9, 2017 from 4:00 PM – 7:15 PM.  Funeral Service at 7:30 PM followed by Military Honors.  Private Interment at Wisconsin Memorial Park
