Our thoughts, prayers, and love go out to the family of Sister Jessie Peer. Sister Peer will be truly missed. I remember her as having a quiet demeanor and spirit with a hint of humor. From her beautiful Sunday hats to her sporty Packer wear (only on the Sundays we had "sports theme wear" and she was a die-hard Packer fan), she had style. May God bless and keep you all.

Linda, My heart goes out to you and the family. I certainly understand where you guys are having experienced this loss myself. I pray that God will help you find peace and over time, bring smiles to your face when you remember the joy Sister Peer brought into the lives of so many. Love you all. Brentwood Church of Christ, Visitation Group left a message on April 24, 2020:
Our Sweet Beloved Sister Peer, will be greatly missed! Family, we knew her love for God, you and the church. So we encourage you to continue the legacy she's left behind. We ask you, how is it possible to think of her, and not remember her grace and wit? Today as many of us (though not physically present due to circumstances) celebrate her life, we cannot help but to smile! Even behind the tears. Whether it be for something she said or did, to make us laugh! Please be encouraged! Whenever you are feeling sad, think of something she have said or would've said. Even if it's her telling you, "You might want to stop that crying, I'm just saying.... then whispers under her breathe (so u could hear it of course) ....mmmm um, looking a hot mess!" Family, you were blessed that God chose you to be a part of her lineage, but we were also blessed_ to call her our dear sister in Christ! Yet, because she was your mom, grandma, aunt and etc., we know you have many stories to tell. Those stories were seeds_ that God allowed her to plant in your hearts_ to bring you through the challenging days! Please share her stories with us! We love, pray and wish you Godly Peace! ~Brentwood Church of Christ, Visitation Group
