We met Joan at Liz and Brian's engagement party. She had the loveliest of smiles and quickly bonded with my mom, the other grandmother in attendance. Joan was so happy to be a part of this significant family event. It was clear that she had a special place in her heart for Brian. That place expanded with the addition of Harrison and Ruby to the Moshe/Lodl Family. She loved them all and they loved her back. She will be missed.
