After high school, Johanna provided secretarial services to the Engineering Department of Allis Chalmers Manufacturing Company during WW II. Later in life, she was a long time manager of the West Allis Medical Building Medical Laboratory. Johanna was known for her drive, tremendous work ethic and spirit. She stressed education and always put her family first. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her emphasis was on betterment and sharing along with loyalty to her family from which she drew strength and love which dominated her life. She cherished spending time with family, cooking and baking. She lead a life of service to those she loved.
Johanna will be deeply missed by her entire family for her kindness, compassion and selflessness. Johanna has now gone to a much better place to join all the elders in her family that she dearly missed. She will always be loved, missed and never forgotten. Special thank you to the entire Vitas Hospice team for their extraordinary and compassionate care.
