John was his own man. He loved his family and friends. He had many many friends. No matter where he would go in town or out of town believe me, he knew someone. John loved his horseradish. He would travel miles to find exactly the kind he loved. He loved finding new & different kinds horseradish, especially with his brother Jim. They would spend hours trying to find what he wanted Jim to try. The hotter it was the better they enjoyed getting family and friends to try. They loved teasing family and friends getting them to try the hottest they had, then they would laugh so hard watching the people run for something ice cold. Thank you John for all the good memories you left for and with your family and friends. God Bless and may you R.I.P. Always, Barb Riales

Johns friendship was priceless. He was generous, always giving or finding for you anything that you needed or wanted. He loved his friends and family speaking highly of them, elevating them, cheering them on through tough times. John always stopped what he was doing to listen to you and try to solve your problem or help you. He was always happy to receive your call you could clearly hear it in his voice, how special this made me feel. He laughed with me, cried with me, always had a big John comforting hug that made you feel safe and that everything would be ok. He talked about his children and grandchildren often, he was so proud of every accomplishment they made either big or small. His grandchildren made his whole world light up. God is at your side John and this gives me peace of mind. My heart aches at the loss of hearing your voice, sharing stories, and enjoying a good meal. I will always cherish our friendship that will live on in my heart and thoughts. May Gods love fill the hearts of family and friends ease their pain through Jesus’ name- Amen

I did not know John except through his wonderful daughter, Jennifer, a cousin of mine who so loved and respected her dad. While reading about him, John and I could have been good friends as we love so many of the same things especially dogs....and beagles top the list. I pray that John has found that fishing spot in the sky and that his children will always cherish those loving memories of him. My sincerest condolences to the family of John, and I feel we all lost a good guy all too soon.
