Born to Eternal Life on May 5, 2021 at age 73. He will be missed by his loving son Raymond Schaefer and Katy Ruby; and the love of his life, Cathy Schaefer. John was such a beautiful soul. I always loved seeing him come to my unit with supplies and have some light small talk. He always knew how to make me smile, and would go out of his way to do so. One day he found me on the unit, gave me a KitKat and said, "take a break kid". Memories like that are unforgettable..he is unforgettable. He always would go out of his way to make sure we had the supplies we needed; even went on hunts through supply chain to find our missing seizure pads. My thoughts and love are with his family, friends and Froedtert family during this difficult time.
