John H. Dalsant – Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at age 91. John lost his battle to heart disease. He lived a long and full life. He served in the military, was married for 67 years, and raised a family.

John was a Terrazo mechanic like his father, and his work can be seen all over Milwaukee – from the airport to hospitals. He loved to build things as well, including the addition onto his deck and his house. This addition was even featured in a builders magazine. He made many things across the years from tables, to swings, to vegetable bins, etc.

He loved his family and would always help if he could.

John was the loving husband of Lyda (nee Fuller) Dalsant. Loving father of Linda (Ron) Biegel, James (the late Debra) Boylan, the late Karen (John) Sullivan, Jean (the late James) Mueller and Glenn (Lorene) Dalsant. Proud grandpa of Brent (Judy), Kimberly, Patrick (Ashleigh), Meghan (Loren), Shannon, Katelin (Brandon), Bari (Chad), Candise (Joe), Courtney, Nicole, Jimmy (Kim), Gunner (Alice), Brenda (Jim), Brian (Sara), Nathan (Melissa), Justin, Joel (Michelle), and many great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Patricia Mowery. John will be missed by other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Marie (Chiesa) Dalsant; brother, Bruno Dalsant and sisters, Betty Ann Ray and Anna Dalsant.

John will be missed by all. He left a mark on a lot of lives.

Memorial Gathering at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin on Friday, June 9th from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM. Memorial Service at 3:00 PM followed by Military Honors.
