Of Milwaukee. Passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of 49 years to Margaret. Devoted father of Sandra (James) Brown, Wendy (Mike) Leininger, John (Gretchen) Kohler, James (Heidi) Kohler, Gary (Jenny) Kohler, and Tracy (Steve) Pittsley. Loving grandpa of 17 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Also survived by other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff of St. Joseph's ICU for their excellent care of John.
