John was born May 24, 1951 in Battle Creek, MI and found eternal rest on May 23, 2011. Beloved son of the late John & Marian. Dear brother of Kathy (John) Koetters, Martha (Mike) Waldman, Tom (Janis) Sigmund and Paul (Patti) Sigmund. Special uncle to Emily, Christopher, Paul & Ryan.John and his parents became involved in the Association for the Rights of Citizens with handicaps (ARCh) in Waukesha. In John's younger years, he enjoyed spending summers attending Camp Pow Wow and the Socials, where all are treated with respect and love. John loved listening to music, watching movies and old TV shows, working on word puzzles, attending family gatherings, and going on outings with his friends. He spent many years working at the Waukesha Training Center and was enjoying his retirement by participating in the LEO Program in Waukesha. John was a very special guy and will be missed by all who knew him; if you knew John, you loved him.Visitation at the Funeral Home, Thursday, May 26 from 4:00-6:00 PM. Funeral Service at 6:00 PM. Committal at Mt.
