Found peace Sunday, May 2, 2010. Age 86. Beloved husband of the late Mabelle (nee Fenney). Father of Peggy Dixon, Mary (the late Jack) Wilke, Louise Rosier and the late Thomas Shell. Grandpa of Amanda, Jake, John, Jessica, Justin (Angie), Lindsay (Teig) and Casey. Great-grandpa of John, Julian, Isaiah, Jimmy, Jackson, Fischer, Griffin, Sincere and Selah. Also loved by other relatives and friends.Memorial Gathering at the Funeral Home Friday, May 7, 4-6:45 PM. Memorial Service 7 PM with a reception to follow at Maxim's Restaurant, 18025 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield.He proudly served his country during WWII and the Korean Conflict in the Army Transport and the Merchant Marine. He was an avid sportsman and member of the Valley Rod & Gun Club, Doe Haven, Hanson Park Senior Golf & Bowling League and he served as a Boy Scout leader.He was a friend to many and will be dearly missed and he wants you to remember, "Don't fall in the snow."
