Jonathan Klug

On February 25, 2020, Jonathan Michael Klug joined his Savior, Jesus Christ, in heaven.  He was born on March 30, 1968, in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  He was the beloved son of James Klug and Lynette Klug Owens and the dear step-son of Wayne Owens.  He had three step-brothers, Steve (Meghan), Jeff (Sue), and Brian Owens.

His loving siblings are Katherine Deitsch (Dana) and Jason Klug.  Jon was blessed with a loving wife, Leticia (Lety) Clara Klug.  He dearly loved their three sons Jose, Victor, and Joshua. Jon’s mother-in-law is Modesta C. Alarcon.  Nieces are Mariana and Veronica Golembowski, Jasmine Teramura, Camila, and Calista Klug.  Nephews are Leon Golembowski, Christopher Schultz and Spencer Klug. Granddaughter Mila.  Brothers-in-law are Orlando, Leon, James (Maria del Carmen) Golembowski and Miguel Clara.

Jonathan was preceded in death by his father, James Klug, maternal grandparents, Norris and Genevieve Koopmann, paternal grandparents Harold and Linda Klug, and maternal birth grandmother Pauline M. Ekrem. Leticia’s father Leon Clara is deceased.

Our hearts are heavy as we grieve the loss of our bright, loving, caring, mentoring, creative, passionate, and funny Jon.

The visitation on March 8, 2020, will be at Woodlawn Lutheran Church, 2217 South 99th Street, West Allis, Wisconsin, from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM.  The Celebration of Life service will begin at 7:00 PM.  Following the service, attendees are invited to a Celebration of Life Reception at Crawdaddy’s Roadhouse, 9638 West National Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for Joshua’s education.
