Passed away on November 13, 2018, at age 87. She was reunited with her beloved husband Erwin “Erv” Marks. Loving mother of Randal (Paula) and Gregory (Kathryn) Marks. Proud grandma of Kierstin, Trevor, Tyler, Tessa, and Elise Marks. She was also loved and will be missed by additional family and friends.

Joyce was born and raised in Milwaukee and graduated from Rufus King High School. She later met the love of her life, Erv and they were married in 1957. Joyce worked in medical records for Wheaton Franciscan for 20 years. She and Erv raised their children in Wauwatosa and enjoyed having dogs in their home.

Joyce enjoyed dancing, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and taking trips with friends. She had a warm smile that encouraged others and was the life of the party engaging those around her. She was a friend to many and will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Saturday, November 24, 2018 from 10:00 AM – 12:15 PM. Funeral Service at 12:30 PM. Entombment at Wisconsin Memorial Park to follow.
