Judith Arlene Klauer

Judith Klauer (nee Plante) was born into Eternal Life on April 28, 2023, at age 75.

Loving wife of Frank for 47 years. Cherished mother of Randy (Sue) and Rick. Daughter of Gene and Anita Plante. Loving sister to Barb, Sandy and Debbie. Also loved by her grandchildren Tammi, Kimmi, Courtney and Camden, as well as several great grandchildren and family and friends.

Born in 1947, Judy attended Milwaukee Washington High School and married Frank in 1965. Judy worked as a nurse technician at St. Joseph’s Hospital for many years while raising her sons. When Judy was 51 years old she fulfilled one of her life-long dreams and earned a bachelor’s degree from Mount Mary College in 1998 with an emphasis in literature.

Judy loved to knit and sew, creating beautiful scarves and winter hats. Yarn was the fabric of her life, and you could typically find her sitting happily in a recliner with knitting needles while watching one of her favorite shows on PBS or HBO. She was a huge Game of Thrones fan. Judy wrote poetry, loved reading and collecting classic books. She enjoyed feeding birds and was fond of sharing a blanket and a snuggle with several wonderful cats over the years. She also loved shopping with her beloved cousin Nancy, playing cards with family and friends, whipping up a pan of chocolate chip cookies or grabbing a pizza at Allegretti’s by Northridge or Mama Mia’s on Burleigh.
