Judith R. Lien (nee Riemer) of West Allis, WI passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020. Judith was born on May 30, 1943, in Milwaukee, WI to Edward and Frances E. Riemer (nee Morenus). She was raised in West Allis and attended St. Paul’s Lutheran Elementary and Nathan Hale High School. Judy married Dennis C. Lien on February 9, 1963, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. The majority of her career was at Froedtert as a Medical Transcriptionist. Her earlier career was transcribing for court reporters. She enjoyed her puzzles, loved flowers, and visiting Laurel, MS. Survivors include her husband, Dennis; three children: Allison (John) Wegner, Clint (Rhonda) Lien, and Matthew (Leana) Lien; five grandchildren: Heather (Umar Mannan) Wegner, Amber (Zach Bentz) Wegner, Alyssa Lien, Luke (Chelsea) Lien, and Brooke Lien; five great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara (Eugene) Joiner; nieces: Jodi (Rick) Drew and Cindy (Evert) Berndt. Judy was preceded in death by her parents and beloved brother-in-law, Wayne Lien. A Memorial Celebration of Life is tentatively scheduled for her birthday, May 30, 2021.
