Kathy entered heaven on March 15, 2023, at the age of 62. She was preceded in death by her loving parents Sam and Pat Karegeannes. Survived by brother Jim, nephew Dalton, aunts Geraldine Raye and Mary Karegeannes, other family and friends. Thank you to Andrew, Angela, Evan and Andrew for their unconditional love. Special thanks to the staff at Froedtert and Ruth Hospice for their compassionate care.
Kathy was born in Milwaukee and was a 1979 graduate of James Madison Senior High School. She worked for AT&T and retired after 30 years in 2009.
Kathy loved to travel. Her most favorite place to relax was in Ephraim in Door County. She loved the water, the sand, boating, pizza from Wild Tomato, campfires, and smores. She loved spending time with her aunt, cousins, and friends.
Kathy loved Marquette women’s basketball. She was a season ticket holder and sat right behind the home team’s bench. She attended all the home games and traveled with the team to their away games. She attended all the Big East Tournament games, and the NCAA Tournament games that they played in. The biggest Marquette fan. Go Marquette! We Are Marquette!
Kathy was also a fan of the Packers, Bucks, and Brewers.
Kathy will be cremated and part of her ashes will be buried in her mom’s grave, and some will be taken up to Door County. Committal prayers at Wisconsin Memorial Park – Chapel of the Flowers, 13235 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 11:00 AM.
